Types of Dizziness

Dizziness makes one lightheaded or lose his balance under normal circumstances.  One may also feel that the world around him is spinning and thus suffer from vertigo. Usually, dizziness is a state of unsteadiness, whirling sensation, feeling of movement within head like giddiness etc. Dizziness can make a person lose the control over him and raise the risk of a fall.

There are three types of dizziness namely:
Vertigo: It’s the state where it feels like the world around us is spinning or moving. The person may feel that everything around him is moving when actually it’s not. This is usually due to problem in the ear but sometimes may even be because of vision problem. Patients who suffer from this find it difficult to move around as it affects the balance and may lead to a fall. Vertigo is considered severe than dizziness, symptoms of which include loss of balance, blurred vision, problem walking properly, nausea, the feeling that everything around is moving or spinning, earache etc.

Disequilibrium: It is a state of lack of balance or stability. Person suffering from disequilibrium may find it difficult to keep balance while walking like staggering or veering or falling problem. Disequilibrium is caused due to orthopedic difficulty, weakness or it could just be dis-use of disequilibrium as the person becomes lethargic and doesn’t walk, exercise or simply put do not practice the skill of keeping a balance often

Lightheadedness or faintness: To faint is sudden and unexpected loss of consciousness. Sometimes it may be due to certain psychological factors or at times there may not be any serious problem at all. The symptoms include, feeling dizzy, hot and seeing spots.  Usually, it’s recommended that the person should lie down on the floor with his legs slightly elevated as a preventive measure

Sometimes dehydration, some head injury, motion sickness etc. may also cause of dizziness or vertigo. It’s important to know the underlying problem behind the discomfort that the person is having and go for medication accordingly

How to cause Gut Infection

Gut infection is a bacterial infection in the intestine. This infection leads to stomach cramps, nausea and diarrhea. The gut infection is commonly detected in elderly and sick people who intake certain antibiotics and anti-reflux medicines. However, the infection is also common amongst young and fit people. The infection can be cured by different antibiotics but it is difficult to diagnose.

Symptoms of Gut Infection:

Some of the common symptoms of gut infection are as follows:

• Diarrhea
• Frequent stomach cramps
• Frequent passing of gas
• High and frequent fever
• Passing of blood in diarrhea

Levels of Cholesterol

A fat type which is very important for functioning of the human body and is produced by the human liver is known as ‘Cholesterol’.
 
Cholesterol is present in every human cell in the exterior part. It is supposed to be a steroid which is waxy in nature. The cholesterol acts as a sterol which is synthesized by the fungi, plants and the animals. 
 
Cholesterol is necessary in everybody in order to perform certain important functions. Cholesterol is responsible for preparing the Vitamin D in human body as well as for hormone making, bile acids making and maintaining the cells walls in a healthy manner. 

Levels of Cholesterol:

Maintaining a healthy cholesterol levels is very necessary to avoid heart related health problems.
 
The level of cholesterol is measured in the measuring unit known as (mg) ‘milligrams’ which is per (dl) deciliter of the blood content. In some of the countries, cholesterol is measured in the measuring unit known as (mmol) millimoles which is per (L) liter of the blood content.
   
If excessive of Cholesterol gets settled in the inner portions of the blood vessels wall, it results into creating the blood clots as it narrows the inner walls. If this happens, then the blood flow from the vessels can be stopped or slowed down. 

It has been studied that high level of Cholesterol does not always lead to high blood pressure. High blood pressure or hypertension as well as high levels of Cholesterol have certain common risk factors and causes, women wellness.

Information on Knee knock

The knock knee is a condition where the patient’s knees can touch each other but his ankles can’t. The angle of the legs appears to be in an inward angle.

A study shows that infants experience the bowlegs as a result of the ureters folded position. These bowlegs can get straighten as the child starts or learns to walk. After a period of time, usually three to four years, the kid becomes knock kneed. When he stands straight, his knees touch each other but his ankles don’t.
 
Causes of knock knee:

A child or a person can experience the knock knees due to various reasons. These reasons can be said as the causes of knock knees. The knock knee causes are as follows:

• A disease occurred due to the vitamin D deficiency (Rickets)
• Obesity or overweight
• Bone infection (Osteomyelitis)
• Shinbone injury
• A disease occurred to the vitamin C deficiency (Scurvy)

Symptoms of knock knee:

The knock knee symptoms are the early signs which can be seen in the patient’s knees. These symptoms help to determine whether it’s a knock knee case or not. The symptoms of knock knees are as follows:

• Walking difficulty or awkwardness in walking
• Knee angles causing pain
• Knee angle which appears excessively outwards or inwards
• Differences in angle of leg while standing straight
