Levels of Cholesterol

A fat type which is very important for functioning of the human body and is produced by the human liver is known as ‘Cholesterol’.
 
Cholesterol is present in every human cell in the exterior part. It is supposed to be a steroid which is waxy in nature. The cholesterol acts as a sterol which is synthesized by the fungi, plants and the animals. 
 
Cholesterol is necessary in everybody in order to perform certain important functions. Cholesterol is responsible for preparing the Vitamin D in human body as well as for hormone making, bile acids making and maintaining the cells walls in a healthy manner. 

Levels of Cholesterol:

Maintaining a healthy cholesterol levels is very necessary to avoid heart related health problems.
 
The level of cholesterol is measured in the measuring unit known as (mg) ‘milligrams’ which is per (dl) deciliter of the blood content. In some of the countries, cholesterol is measured in the measuring unit known as (mmol) millimoles which is per (L) liter of the blood content.
   
If excessive of Cholesterol gets settled in the inner portions of the blood vessels wall, it results into creating the blood clots as it narrows the inner walls. If this happens, then the blood flow from the vessels can be stopped or slowed down. 

It has been studied that high level of Cholesterol does not always lead to high blood pressure. High blood pressure or hypertension as well as high levels of Cholesterol have certain common risk factors and causes, women wellness.
